PCP is well aware that a responsible and forward thinking company not only adheres to high standards but strives to improve them wherever possible.
We try to be proactive in not only our specific field but in those aligned to ours, and our record of innovation and participation is one that we are extremely proud of.
PCP are a long established member of the British Concrete Pumping Group, the only concrete pumping trade body in the UK, which in turn is part of the Construction Plant Association.
The BCPG’s steering committee, of which we are a very active member, was responsible for the drawing up of a British Standard as well as a Good Practice Guide in conjunction with the HSE, CITB and UKCG.
PCP were invited to become Associate Members of the Federation of Piling Specialists in 2014. The FPS is the industry body for foundation contractors and it runs an industry registration system. This was a great honour for PCP and already we have been instrumental in helping the FPS draw up a Best Practice Guidance for Pumping Concrete to Form Piles.
The Fleet Operator Scheme encompasses all aspects of road transport safety, fuel efficiency, economical operations and vehicle emissions. PCP has been a member of the scheme from its inception and we continue to work with its standards and principles in mind.
